Karina Vanessa Monarrez

Karina Vanessa Monarrez was born September 21st, 1999, to Eduardo Monarrez and Maria Georgina Monarrez. She is a daughter, sister, cousin, aunt, niece, friend and overall an amazing, sweet person. Since infancy she always worried about others and was very strong.

Karina had a rare genetic condition that has affected her health, and quality of life. Luckily, Karina was a fighter. Despite all her ailments Karina was the nicest, kindest, funniest person to those who got to know her on a personal level. She had an immense love for animals, and loved looking up recipes online. She was a big foodie and movie buff. She was fortunate to experience living on her own in Berkeley for some time and experience life. She will be terribly missed and kept forever in the hearts of those who loved her dearly.  
Karina was only 22 years old when God called her to heaven on January 21^st, 2022.
