With her exceptional organizational skills and meticulous attention to detail, she excelled in her role and left a lasting impact on her colleagues. After some time, Ligia made the decision to become a homemaker and devoted herself entirely to nurturing and supporting her beloved family.

Ligia's greatest pride and joy were her children. She raised three daughters - Monica Rodriguez Garcia, Luz Angelica Rodriguez Garcia, and Jenny Patricia Guerrero - and a son named Manuel Enrique Rodriguez Garcia. Ligia instilled in them the values of resilience, compassion, and determination that she carried throughout her own life.

A woman of great courage and resilience, Ligia faced challenges head-on with unwavering strength. Her indomitable spirit served as an inspiration to those around her. She never shied away from sharing her tales as a military wife or recounting her adventures from travels around the world. Beyond her roles as a mother and homemaker, Ligia found solace in various hobbies and interests. A green thumb at heart, she dedicated her time and care to nurturing a beautiful garden. Ligia found relaxation and excitement in visits to the casino, where she delighted in playing her beloved lottery scratchers.

Ligia's proudest accomplishment was undoubtedly her family. She took immense pride in nurturing her children and ensuring they received a quality education. Ligia prioritized providing her three daughters with a professional degree, a testament to her unwavering commitment to their future and personal growth.

On October 8, 2023, Ligia Maria Garcia passed away peacefully in her residence, surrounded by loved ones who held her dear. Her memory will forever be cherished by her surviving family members: Monica Rodriguez Garcia, Manuel Enrique Rodriguez Garcia, Luz Angelica Rodriguez Garcia, and Jenny Patricia Guerrero. Additionally, Ligia is survived by her father Jesus Garcia and mother Mariana Garcia.

To honor Ligia's life and cherish the memories she left behind, a Funeral Service will be held on November 1, 2023, from 5:00 PM to 8:00 PM at Ministerio Fe Y Esperanza located at 8431 State Street, South Gate, CA 90280. A Graveside Service will follow on November 2, 2023, from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM at Inglewood Park Cemetery situated at 720 East Florence Avenue, Inglewood, CA 90301.

Ligia Maria Garcia will forever be remembered for her kind and loving nature as well as the extraordinary impact she had on the lives of those around her. Her legacy of strength and devotion will continue to inspire generations to come. She will be greatly missed but never forgotten. May she rest in eternal peace.
