Roland was a man who cherished small gestures that had the power to bring happiness. He had a special talent for finding the perfect flower to present to his wife, Ethelvina Zabala de Gutierrez. With a twinkle in his eye and a genuine smile on his face, Roland would extend these tokens of love to put a bright smile on Ethelvina's face. He didn't stop there - when their daughter, Sade Linda Gutierrez, grew older, Roland continued this tradition by surprising her with flowers as well. It was through these acts of kindness that he expressed his unwavering love for his family.

A proud father and provider, Roland also devoted himself to being the best dad he could be. His favorite thing in the world was being with his two beautiful children, Sade and Anthony Jeremiah Gutierrez. With limitless patience and care, Roland nurtured their dreams and encouraged them to reach for the stars. He took immense pride in witnessing their growth and accomplishments.

Apart from his dedication to family life, Roland indulged in one of his favorite hobbies - assembling things at home. Whether it was building furniture or fixing broken appliances, he found solace in working with his hands. This meticulous attention to detail showcased not only his creativity but also his penchant for problem-solving.

Known for his sociable nature and welcoming demeanor, Roland had an incredible ability to connect with people from all walks of life. His genuine interest in others' well-being made him an invaluable friend and confidant. He always extended a warm greeting to everyone he met, ensuring that no one felt overlooked or unheard. To honor Roland's memory and bid him farewell, a visitation will be held on October 12, 2023. The services will be held at the Amor Eterno Funerals, located at Encino Banquet and Garden / Saint Mary's Church, 5955 Lindley Avenue, Tarzana, California, 91356. The visitation will commence at 5:00 PM and conclude at 9:00 PM.
